An ancient perennial culinary kitchen garden vegetable.  Edible, bluish-green leaves emerge from the soil in early spring and young shoots emerging from roots can be covered with a pot to blanch them and then eaten like asparagus.  Huge white, cruciform-shaped flowers attract bees.    Can be propagated by seed or by root pieces.  A rare, ancient brassica for you to enjoy!
