Dwarf Orinoco Cold Hardy Banana (organic)

The ‘Dwarf Orinoco’ is a small vigorous banana plant that is solid green and has a thick stem. It is a heavy bearer of thick skinned fruit of very good eating quality. This banana is very hardy and withstands cold temperatures and wind,.  It will grow between 6-10 ft tall Suitable for growing indoors or outdoors.  It fruits here at our nursery in Oakland, Ca 9b,  but is much more cold hardy down to USDA 8.  Grown pups potted in 1 gallons grown right here at our nursery mother garden.  Banana can be eaten ripe or fried like a plantain when green.
