Muscat Black Grape aka Black Muscat, Muscat Hamburg (Vitis vinifera) is a very old variety of vinifera grape from mainland Europe and introduced in 1720 to Great Britain. Blue-black, juicy, sweet seeded grapes make good fresh eating and are commonly used in the US to make sweet muscat wines. Vines have good vigor and produce medium size, compact clusters that ripen mid-season. Good in low humidity climates. Hardy zones 6-9.
