Pink Pearl Apple (Malus domestica) is a delicious bright pink fleshed apple. It is highly aromatic, crisp and juicy. Rich, sweet fruit has excellent dessert quality and makes colorful sauce and pies. Thin yellow skin glows pink from the bright flesh underneath. Another great apple introduction made by Albert Etter, Ettersburg, CA in 1944. Pink Pearl ripens its extraordinary and plentiful fruit in September. Needs 600 chill hours and hardy in Zones 4-8.
