Dolgo Crabapple (Malus domestica) is a beautiful, brilliant crimson red 1-1/2 to 2″ long fruit is very juicy and has an excellent sprightly flavor. High in pectins it makes a naturally jelling rich ruby-red jelly and is also great for making cider and other culinary purposes, as well as fresh eating when fully ripe. Super hardy strong growing tree is covered by masses of snow white flowers in the spring followed by heavy crops of fruit in the fall. Introduced into the US from Siberia, Russia in 1897. Our Dolgo Crabapple trees are certified organic.
