Native from Alaska through most of western Canada south to Northern California and the Colorado Rockies, Western or Pacific Serviceberry is a beautiful flowering bush that produces large crops of delicious sweet dark blue fruit. Long cherished by native people they are a great hardy garden fruit and are also grown commercially in Canada in areas where it is too cold for blueberries. Beautiful white blooms in late spring, attarctive soft green foliage and good fall color make it an attractive bush in the landscape. Hardy zones 3-8.
