Wenatchee Moorpark Apricot (Prunus armeniaca) is a large oval fruit with yellow flash has a good flavor that is excellent for fresh eating, drying, and canning (this is a freestone type!). Wenatchee Moorpark bears heavy, is self fertile, and is good for climates where spring rains and frost limit apricot production. This makes it a favorite in Oregon and Washington.
Ripens late June into early July and later in cooler climates. Requires 700 hours annual chilling below 45 °F.
Cold hardy to USDA Zone 6.
