Loganberry Thornless (Rubus sp.) produces large purple red fruit has very flavorful soft, tart high acid fruit that is excellent for pies, jam, juice and wine making. Beside being thornless it is more productive, ripens over a longer period and has stronger canes than regular Logan A cross of raspberry and blackberry. Introduced in 1935.
