Metolius Blackberry (Rubus sp.) is very early ripening trailing type cultivar has medium size firm, black berries with excellent flavor. Very high yielding disease resistant plants are vigorous with excellent fruit for either fresh eating, pies or jams. From the USDA-ARS breeding program in Corvalis, OR it was selected by Dr. Chad Finn as a cross of Douglass and Kotata. Hardy zones 7-10
