Prime-Jim® Blackberry (Rubus sp.) is a new primo-cane fruiting variety that fruits on its first year canes the same as everbearing/ fall bearing raspberries do. Produces a heavy summer crop on last years canes and then a more moderate one in the fall on its new canes. Glossy black fruit has small seeds and has good flavor and sweetness similar to other thorny varieties. Plant patent #16989. Hardy zones 6-9.
