Yellow Transparent Early Apple (Organic)

Yellow Transparent Apple (Malus domestica) is a classic heirloom summer apple is the first to ripen in our orchards every year, coming ready by mid June. Imported from Russia in 1870 it is pleasantly tart/sweet and juicy, with fined grained crisp white flesh and tender light yellow, almost transparent skin. Excellent for making pies and applesauce, it is also good for eating out of hand, being a fresh tasty apple when no others are ripe. Super hardy, large spreading trees are long lived and resistant to apple scab. Heavily productive of round medium large size fruits. Self fruitful trees need about 800 chill hours and are hardy zones 3-9.
