Fruiting Double Pink Japanese (Ume) Apricot (Prunus armeniaca) produces small fruit 3/4″ to 1″ diameter. Used primarily for pickling and medicinal purposes. Double pink flowers have a spicy fragrance, and bloom from late January to early February. Requires 700 hours chilling below 45F. Cold hardy to USDA Zone 7.
