These apricots fruit early in the season, even earlier than most fruits in general.  These self-fertile trees are considered to be one of the best backyard apricot for warm winter climates. A Gold Kist apricot tree doesn’t have a wide spread. At maturity, they usually have a width of around 10 to 20 feet. They boast highly fragrant flowers, so you’ll definitely notice the change in the air when they bloom in early spring.
