Desertnyi is a selection from the Turkmenistan collection of world-renowned hybridist Gregory Levin. Desertnyi translates to English as dessert, and it is a real dessert treat with a light orange rind contrasted by dark red arils makes for a unique look. When planted in the ground, it can reach 8’-12’ at maturity.
