Valiant Grape (Vitis labrusca) is a one of the best of the few super hardy varieties available, Valiant has clusters of small dark-purple sweet and somewhat foxy flavored slipskin fruit that ripens very early, 1 month before Concord. The vigorous vine is very precocious, said to sometimes bear fruit the first year it is planted. Developed by Dr Ron Peterson (an SDSU graduate – class of 1944 – who came back from serving in WW2 to finish his degree) at South Dakota State University. Hardy down to -35 degrees F, zones 3-8.

In order to obtain a CQC for your order, the county Agricultural Inspector must come to our nursery and clear your order for shipping, which costs $45. This fee will be added to your order total during checkout if you wish to proceed with shipping grapes to a restricted state/county
