Wild Black Cap (Rubus leucodermis) (Organic)

Our native Western Black Raspberry variety produces very tasty dark, purple-black fruits that are exceptionally high in the anti-oxidant anthocyanin. Great for fresh eating, jams and preserves, black caps are relished by wildcrafting berry pickers throughout the western states. Good size and pickabilty for a wild berry. Popular food for birds and other wildlife,and a good brouse for deer.  Can be grown in the garden or naturalized in any unmanaged spaces available. Hardy zones 4-9.
