Currently available as a bare root non-organic tree. This heavy producing partially self fertile pecan ripens its crop of delicious large nuts 2 to 3 weeks earlier than most varieties, growing a good crop for us most years. Hardy, disease and heat resistant, it is the most commonly planted pecan variety in North America. Smaller than some pecan varieties topping out at around 30 feet, this can be a better fit for some backyard plantings.
Cold hardy to USDA Zones 6-9.
