This is a tender perennial produced done buy rooting side shoots of the plant. Harvest stalks off the main plant continually through the year. This lemon grass is the variety that produces a stalk with a while narrow swollen base. Most often found at farmers markets and grocery stores.
Cold Hardy to USDA Zone 9, can be grown in a container and brought in during winter.
